Email PPC: Google Ads and Facebook Sign-ups

What are Facebook sign-ups?

A Facebook sign-up refers to when someone subscribes to a company’s email list after clicking on either an organic Facebook post or a paid advertisements from that company. If through a Facebook advertisement, the company usually offers some sort of incentive to encourage sign-ups from their ideal market (this is a paid advertising lead source, which is the opposite of an organic lead source). If through an organic Facebook post, the subscriber usually clicks first to the company’s website and then opts in to the email list from there.

What are Google Ads sign-ups?

An Google Ads sign-up refers to when someone opts in to a company’s email list after clicking on a Google paid advertisement to the company’s website. More often than not, the company also offers some sort of incentive to sign up for its email list once the visitor lands on its website. This is a paid advertising lead source, which is the opposite of an organic lead source.
